That's just plain wrong. Feel for you. If the shop does it right, it should be just as tight as ever. It's not like the frame was damaged. Hope it comes out well for you.
However, if this was at night, then I think your own blacked out bada$$ self is at least partly to blame: no reflectors, no visible tail lights, dark tinted windows...it's just part of the darkness out there. An older person in their Caddy or SUV (or anyone in a darkened lot in the rain) is not going to see your car in the dark. If it was during the day, it's just plain rude and incompetent of the other driver. Well, either way it's rude, and of course, illegal.
