Are there any new options out there for bigger turbos?

ATP - did they ever fix that cracking problem?
034 - dont know much about them

    any others out there?

Are you talking about GTRS manifolds? or regular manifolds? GTRS you only have 034 and ATP

    For other stuff you have:

    Treadstone
    SPA
    034 tubular
    full-race

well I'm really not sure myself

I was just about to sell my car and pick up an evo x

But after looking over all of my options I think I'm going to keep the a4 for a little while longer and eventually pick up a c6 z06. If im going to keep this car then I want a little more power.

Currently I have a K04 with revo software. So the only thing I want to do is stay with revo so only have to upgrade the flash I already have.

I know about a year ago the GTRS was the best option for me but when I left the site there were about 3 other companies that were coming out with turbo kits or different manifolds and the APT mani had its own problems.

I know some people run full GT28rs on revo software with custom manifolds, I'm not sure what my options are right now.

Revo sux for anything over a 28RS... so ditch the Revo idea... Your going to need some kind of other software, nothing has really proven itself yet, and custom tunes are the only way to gain full power out of your setup IMO...

ASP is doing custom tunes but taking their damn time right now, Tapp and Uni can do custom tunes also but no one has gone that route yet

mark at ASP is really good just be ready to wait to have your car tuned. i got one of the first B6 tunes from him almost 9 months ago and everything is great with the car and i am going back to tune for more boost next weekend.

Ive been talking to mike-2ptzero and i think ive narrowed it down to a GTRS kit or maybe making my own kit with a GT28RS

It seems like it will be easier to do the GTRS but it might be a little more fun to build my own GT28RS

IMHO just get a GTRS kit and be done with it, making your own kit and piecing stuff together is fun in theory but after awhile it can be aggravating and if something goes wrong can become a pain in the ass.

The GTRS does seem like the easiest option, get the kit, a manifold, and injectors

for the GT28rs i would need to buy the turbo, an oil return kit, a manifold, injectors, and fab up a custom test pipe that would fit the 4/5 bolt exhaust

Get the GTRS if you are looking for for justr an above average fast car but you will not be hanging around with an evo if it has any work done to it. you will most likely be a mid top high 13 sec car. and for some on this forum that is not good enough. so it really comes down to what you want to do. and what your expectations are.

There is a reason why they were taking their time but I won't go into details here. You two both know why. Lets just say the turn-around time for the B6 A4 should decrease rapidly based on what we have done with my car in the past week or two. It is coming. My car is almost complete and we have made MAJOR strides in the past week compared to what we have done in the past year.

Did I just read Josh posting more than one word??

Re: So I havnt been on the forum in a while, lets talk about manifolds

Just saw on the Kinetic Motorsport site that they now offer a hi flowing exahaust manifold (for the K04/Elim crowd). Is there really any big differences between ATP, 034 and now Kinetic (not sure if anyone has used one) or does it just come down to preference?

I will never order another thing from from eurocode as long as i live

    worst customer service ever

they sent my K04 kit in 3 packages, one went to the shipping address, the next went to the billing address. So I called and asked them to make sure it goes to the shipping address not the billing. So where does it show up? Billing address again.

Then they took almost 3 weeks to send back my flashed ECU and never called me once to update me or give me any reason why it wasnt coming. And of course they charged my CC their shipping cost which they promised they would take away and never did.

Wow, so not to threadjack or anything, but should I just get the hardware from them and then get it flashed at a local Revo shop?

If I had to do it all over again I would have bought it all locally and see if they could have matched eurocodes price.

I will never sent my ECU out again, I was worried about driving the car to get it flashed but as long as you stay off the boost you're fine.
