car won't even start now.

2000 6sdp..my car shit the bed

. I was vagging the car got some DTC codes so went ahead to clear them.. I took it for a spin but it felt very lame!!!! the car made a bogging sound in 2nd gear ,I then went right back home, and switched the car off.. I retryed starting but car will crank for 3 sec then click dead like if the timing had skip, or something... continued with a jump from another car but same thing happens.. there was a red circular flashing light on the center display before all this had happend.. earlier I was going to change my cluster code from 0 to 1025 to accomadate my new VAST RS4 Hitachi MAF. I had entered the CV pump WSC code when this started in the very first, I then re-entered the correct WSC code in place, the red flashing light on the center display went away but no start ever since I chkd all fuse non seems to be blown..plz help.. some DTC code after I re scanned it...

Don't know why it's not starting but you've got an expensive road ahead...

What box is your ECU coded for right now? Had your battery been disconnected recently for some work? And did you make out what the flashing red warning was at all, do you have all your pixels?

my ecu is an A box, I only had this problem after I did something with the VAG COM setting under the CV pump WSC Code which I entered then the round red flashing light came on.I had to put back the WSC code that was on before.. the car was also very hesitant to start before I scanned it so I fiqured I might as well bring out my VAG to do some scanning, and recoding for the MAF.. PLZ help because I need to get the car started before it snows out here in ICE land..lol

sorry, the red flashing light had a pulse to it, also the alarm lights on the door, and radio was on untill I re-entered the proper code..I couldn't make it out since I was busy trying to get the code..

I got a question.. when I rescanned the car I got 551 H A at the end for the ECU coding.. is this because I coded my friend's H box ECU to 1025??

Why don't you go back back to the default settings and see if it clears up your issue. I don't have the coding in front of me but it sounds like you may done something incorrectly.

if you jumped the car and the ABS fuse is blown the car will not start.

I jump the car after a few tries, the car was hard starting before I coded the 1025. I'll re chk all the fuses, and relay under the kick panel.. it's really weird that it will crank for 3 secs then click dead with a jump from another car..

Got new codes..my car is still down. can someone tell me what I need to do to get this car to start again??? my friend will be taken back his ECU soon from me. I used his ECU for this scan,and recoded it to get my car to the shop..now I'm thinking maybe I have to go back in 17 instruments, adaptation 10, and set back to 0?? what do you guy's say?? the car was running before I tried is ECU, and change the code to 1025...
