    VAG COM Question

I just did an HID conversion and have been having problems with my break, abs, and ESP lights coming on when i turn on the hid lamps. Also it will knock out my speedomitor. After i turn the electrical system off and on twice the codes clear out and everything goes to normal. I was reading that with the vagcom tool you can choose what type of light you have in the car. Do you guys think that this will solve the problem? Also does vagcom log the errors?

    Re: VAG COM Question

this is known problem and you are not alone.

It is the ballast at driver side is placed too near the ABS Module.

The ABS module is very sensitive.

Try to reallocate the ballast at driver's side as far away from ABS Module as possible and your problem will go away.
