I'm driving and all of a sudden the cutter spurters sounds like a subaru. I pull over and it's not the coilpacks. No idea what it is car shakes a lot and need help

i would check your coilpacks anyways to see... you're not being too descriptive with you noises (where is it coming from), smells (what does it smell like?) If there is a smell do you see smoke?

With your car shaking like that I think it would be a coilpack.

Its definitely sounds like a misfire (even though its a solid light), if its not a coilpack its something related. Scan would tell you whats really wrong.

so the update is. and properly (sorry was typing from my iphone pissed and scared!)

i get gas, i pull out. about 1.5 miles down the road after a red light turns green i accelerate.. it starts to sputter, not turning off but its not even accelerating. its like sputtering like no tommorow, sooooo hard for it to go over 3-5k rpms. so i say hell... i pull over. turn the car off, turn it on, same thing, sounds like a subaru, and then i turn it of... i have 2 extra coil packs in my trunk (hopefully they werent blown as well) i go to my hood, pop my hood (which is becoming really hard to do, anyone know why? seems like i have to yank the hell out of the latch in the car to get it to open) but anyway, i smell some weird smell coming from the engine bay, i dont know what it is, but i hear ticking as well coming from the engine/turbo side of the car, and im like wtf! so i turn it off, swap 2 random coil packs out... try it again.. same... go back and swap out two more coilpacks... same thing... and im like wtf. so i call up audi roadside (not worth it.. piece of motherfucking asshole shitbags) at around 5:00, then the dumbass is like well i dont know if the dealerships are open today cause of labor day and etc etc.. im like YO YOU ARE AUDI!!! I AM NOT. i dont know. theni google it from my phone and find out 99% of dealerships are open cause of sales, so he schedules me a tow, get a call back at 5:17, "Mr Bhaala, you two truck will be there in an hour. (now keep in mind this is all AM, and its 32 degrees outside and i cannot turn on my car for heat.) ok cool. its 630. i being patient.. tow truck is not here.. im being very calm and very nice, but you guys have no idea... 30 degrees and its dark, and im hungry. so around 7 i call up audi... i tell them "i tried calling the towing company, she said 20 min a little while ago, and now shes not pciking up the phone.. wtf is going on" let me try sir... "umm sir, their driver has hit a dear, and they have dispatched someone else" so im like fuck it... so i keep waiting all the way up until 8:30 (watching the office on my d3) and im like fuck this shit.. my mom comes to pick me up and shes like you dumbass why dont you call AAA and they tow it for free and its quciker. .and im like oh shit.. i forgot i had my card. call them at 830.. boom 20 min they arrive. i call up audi, "sir it seems that the truck is on its way and will bethere in 10 min, and i say you know what.. tell them to fuck uo and fuck you too.. i have frostbit on my nuts and you guys have hte worst customer service."

so now my car is at the dealership... fingers crossed and im praying. i am praying to god... i kind wish everything is fine, and i can just drive it and ill never mod anything on this car again, not even a K&N air filter.. ill stay stock....

but then again the devil in me is saying.. maybe its the turbo thats gone bad... GTRS... and the tranny is fucking up.... upgrade the TQ and etc etc...

i swear.. i wish sometimes i was just some guy who knew nothing bout cars and never hooked nothing up and i coudl live life like the normal people... like in the movie men in black.. just got flashed and thats it...

From what I've read... when a motor sounds like a subaru it usually means a blown piston ring. I really hope it's not though

i go to my hood, pop my hood (which is becoming really hard to do, anyone know why? seems like i have to yank the hell out of the latch in the car to get it to open) but anyway,

Yeah, my hood did the same thing and eventually I couldn't even get it open. The cable still worked fine as I could release it from inside the cabin, but the extra little plastic safety latch at the front of the hood wouldn't release. Took it to my boys at east coast european and they had to replace the entire assembly. Had to break out the grill to do it. Part was about $60 and 1.5 hours labor.

They showed me the assembly when I went to pick up the car and basically the entire thing had seized up. When it started getting difficult to open I was hitting it all the time with WD-40. That probably prolonged the life a little but, I was told by those guys that once it starts to go it will have to be replaced eventually.

My hood was a little hard to open last night too. Probably because its getting colder and the hydraulic opener sounds like it was having a hard time too. WD-40 the latch and see how that goes.

i am really started to hate audis...

honestly. i really am.. as much as i love my car and i have stood by it after everything. i just cant take it anymore. it is really annoying. i have to do a full out replace parts/and maintenance on the car... dougyfresh.. want to help me out and what i should replace at 65k miles besides the timing belt (including the metal water pump, etc etc (which i will be going to asp for))

The entire front latch assembly. He showed me the one he took off my car and the entire thing was just frozen. I could barely open it up with my hands by grabbing both pieces. There is no way the little plastic piece could have opened it.

And like I said in my post, I was hitting it with WD40 whenever I opened the hood, but eventually it just seized shut.

Keep the faith dude. It's probably just some fueling/timing quick fix. I've heard of CP issues coming up as solid CEL's too.

Audi released a class action law suit about that very thing. You are covered from all engine damage due to a failed timing belt up to 100k miles. Came in the mail last September. Of course you still have to pay for the timing belt and water pump replacement.

that was my first guess!!! but then i said i filled BP.. and i got Ultra.. (93) so im thinking no.. but im like maybe the dumbass guy forgot to push ultra and push regular.. so i look at my receipt and it said ultra (93)

Good call on checking the reciept. Then it is most likely just out of time. I don't think your timing belt broke just maybe slipped. I've also seen internal motor damage cause the same symptoms but I highly doubt just driving something internal broke unless you were under boost.

LOL thats the coolest service guy I have ever heard of.. Am ALWAYS stuck with ass holes who just do everything NOT to fix my car, even if its a freaking leak from the engine which any dumb f*ck can see. and jacky as far as the service guy... that guy was a dICK! but i know the head tech at Revo, and he was a tech at that dealership so i used to get my work done from him , and when he left he refered me to another tech and after that, that same service guy was soooo damn nice and plus i get them gifts and wine.. so i mean you know i keep them happy they help me out. i figure i spent on them about 200-300 and they save me THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS. one bill was going to be around 8 grand they warrantied all of it.. so kinda nice.. but yeah also i drive 1 hour to that dealership and i have 3 other dealerships near me but they are all dickheads and i almost sued bell audi due to a lot of shit.. service in audi sucks. next car... mercedes... they are great.. and i have a good friendships with a lot of mechanics and service guys at ray catena.. so next car. DEF benz, aston or porsche.. until then. im driving the audi till the metal melts away into the ground.

are coil packs covered under cpo? im pretty sure i just blew a cp. if i put my car on stock mode it runs ok for a little bit then sputters and flashing cel then i roll along the light goes to solid then shuts off......no over heating or anything. put it on 93 stage 1....shakes and sputters after 12lbs and after 2500rpm....pulls in spurts and jolts but still accellerates.... coil pack?
