    Weird coilover problem

I have a set of h&r ultralows. The passenger side sits lower than the drivers side. When I raise it up, it eventually settles to its original height. The perch, however, remains higher. No matter how high I go, it keeps sinking back down. The wheel on that side is also angled slightly outward in comparison to the drivers side. Control arms seem alright. The spring seems fine, so Idk what the issue is. Any help? Thanks in advance.

I have the exactly same thing. My front right is a bit lower than the left.
    Swapted front coils and same.
I was wondering if the previous owner had an accident with her before.
Look's like a litle twist in the car but not sure.
I don't know where to take mesurements for this or should i put it back to normal height.
It was that way before i made the stage three swap also so i don't think it has to be something about subframe.

I have a machine shop that will make me new spacers to raise front of about 9mm. I shall see. I almost forgot to say that i have all front control arms replaced last summer and changed nothing.

Checked today. The sway bar seems fine. What happens is if I jack the car up and let it back down, it sits slightly higher, but then if I push it down, it goes down adn sits there. Bad spring maybe?

    Re: Weird coilover problem

when you jack a car up you take load off the suspension, when you set it back down it needs to settle in. and when you push down on it, you're basically making it settle in quicker, nothing wrong with that I believe.

No, but I don't think that would cause the problem. The shock controls the motion of the spring, compression and rebound, not the actual height.

How did you find that your subframe was twisted? I'm pretty sure the other owner had an accident with the car.
You can use this as a bump overboosting

Have you taken the strut out and pushed it down to see if it does indeed rebound?

I went to my alignment shop, and they got the rear lined up and they went to do the front and apparently there is supposed to be some side to side adjustability in our front subframes to even out camber between side, long story short, mine wotn budge either way, we took measurements and front to back is off by almost a 1/2 inch and side to side the front is around 1/4 inch smaller, to make sure i wasnt crazy i compared to my buddies 30k mile weekend/summer driven no accident s4 and my measurements are the same amounts off from his...so thankfully jason from JHM gave me scrapyards to call to find a new one, i think the previous owner did crash this car and forgot to mention it, also my passenger side axle is rubbing my shock housing for some reason.....gotta measure the c/a's now to see whats wrong there. SORRY FOR THE HIJACK...
