    sorry for the stupid question but is there something missing from this ice link plus kit i just bought? i thought you were supposed to run it in series with your factory harness, but i don't see how it would plug in to the harness?

    It has been a week and you haven't contacted the seller to see? What do the instructions say?

    Doesn't the black plug go into the changer port? Maybe you ordered the wrong kit.

    instructions aren't detailed in the box, so i read the ones on a4mods. didn't really think of how to install it in my car when i bought it, but it says right on the box it works for my 2002 A4 with Symphony II unit...

    I don't have icelink but mine looked similar. It came with some clips that joined together to fit in the cd changer plug. Search for a diagram of the radio unit to see where it fits in.

    yeah i thought you just hooked it up with the CD changer port at first but as it shows here that might not be the case...
