Hankook Ventus ES V4 on snow???

    Hi,

I am in San Diego and I recently got a set of 19 inch Hankook Ventus ES V4 tires. They ride really good and I am very happy with them. Little did I know... it was decided that I need to go back to Toronto, Canada.. where it easily gets down to -30 degrees Celsius (-22 fahrenheit) and snows until April.. Now, does anyone know how these tires are on snow? It says they're all season tires but i've read someone saying they're pretty bad on snow. I just spent 600 bucks on these and I really don't want to and can't afford to get another set...
    Thanks!

all season is good for snow.
the tires you got MAY not be the BEST, but you are safe, compared to having summer tires

Below is a website that shows various reviews on the tires you bought for your car.

Thank you guys for your help.
I've actually been to 1010tires.com but it doesn't really say much for snow.. so i was kinda looking for someone who's had personal experience with these?
I saw on some website which classifieds these as summer tires.. which scares me...

Re: Hankook Ventus ES V4 on snow???

ok so i checked... it is a UHP Ultra High Performance, but still all weather

"The superb wet and dry handling is competitive with some of the best UHP summer tires available, but the Ventus V4 es also gets twice the winter performance of the typical summer UHP tire. The best technological advances in profile design, construction, tread pattern and tread compound have been applied together in one state-of-the-art tire. The result is a sophisticated tire that provides excellent handling in all weather conditions, along with an advanced, cutting-edge appearance."

So I'm sure you already saw that... I really want to say you're safe, but hopefully someone can chime in with personal experience... however you will be better off posting outside of a model specefic forum; post this in the wheel & tire forum.. http://www.audizine.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12
