    Re: apr stage 3 slow?

APR can be considered slow compared to other Stage 3 OTS kits, but you should definitely feel a difference from Stage 3-.

    Re: apr stage 3 slow?

mine feels the same exact way. I have Apr k04 kit, apr fueling, apr chip and sometimes it feels strong as hell at spiking 25psi holding 22psi, but as of late I only spike 24 tapering to 16psi? some days its fine other its not I dont get it. Forge DV's stuck?

    Re: apr stage 3 slow?

Yeah, something is definitely not right. I would do some logging and a pressure test. On a side note, it makes me glad I spent less and walk stage 3 S4's.

    Re: apr stage 3 slow?

I hold about 21psi.. mind you im at nearly 4000ft above and have a few lemmitweaks..

The 91 program does feel slow after 93 and even more so after 104.. If I were you I would try and find out what isw in what slot.. it wont work in your avor to run the 104 program on 91.... Hell you could be on the stock program!
On my 93 program I cleanly walked away from a 3-.. there is no excuse to not feel faster.

But I agree with others.. Pressure test and go from there.

    Check list:

    1. Pressure test (fix any boost leaks)
    2. Log (replace any faulty parts)
    3. Get better IC's
    4. Realize that APR offers one of the most conservative stage III tunes (albeit very reliable)
    5. Switch to another tune (if you want to go faster)
    6. Watch your parts start to break.

    Good luck.

Build a pressure tester from Home Depot parts. It's on AWE's website with part numbers. You're gonna have to pick up some cheap air supply too if you don't already have it.

Someone in N.C. has a vag-com you can borrow. Post up in your regional forum.

what version of the apr file do you have ? your spikes and tapers are not right, I wouold assume that its still pretty warmm in az, so your spikes should be higher but more importantly, you should be holding 20lbs and not tapering to 15... whats up with the s3 ecu and not a s4 ecu ?? just for comparison my car holds 20-21 lbs in the 93 file

I can't believe someone would even consider going to Stg III w/o a simple Vag-Com cable or pressure tester.

Those should be mandatory even at Stg I or less.
