1st Caps Run. *update* 6.68 caps

So seeing that I finally have a laptop (Thanks to TommyGunn), I went logging tonight.

I am running a custom tune written up by Greg@SSP, This is the first revision.

Caps 6.92, this makes it the 6th fastest k03 Caps time on ModifiedA4.com

All the car has is a 3" turboback with magnaflow resonator and magnaflow muffler. A forge 007 and a cheap pep boys cone that a just happened to be laying around in the trunk of the car when I purchased the car.

Funny part is, car was a little heat soaked from previous run, because I ran out of room, coasted for a little bit and went at it again up a minor uphill.
My trunk is full of tools and parts, I honestly didn't expect to remotely come close to any fastest times. I'm sure if I didn't have anything in the trunk and did this on a level road the car is faster than the 'record' 6.83

The file still needs to go through a few revisions, but I'm sure there still some power to be found in my setup. Think of it as a last wave off to a k03 before I go 2.0.

... wonder what a 2.0L on a K03 would do?

EDIT: just double checked, might be a mis-print, but maxspeed holds the "record" @ 6.28S on a K03. Like I said though, that might not be right, seems too fast for the turbo.

Nope, meaning he can run much lower intake air temperatures. That and the car runs more like on race gas.

I'll pour some 100 octane in there, see how my caps are then.

I just came from a run home, got a much cleaner run that last night, got two runs in first was 6.68 seconds, then second 2 minutes later was 6.88 (guessing heatsoak).

Mind you, I still didn't remove shit from the trunk!!

Though I am getting odd throttle angle... Refer to screenshot.

This makes me second fastest then =P Maxspeed you're going down.

6.28 isnt a typo, nor is it the fastest my car has run during caps trial, 6.28 is an average speed based on 4 back to back runs(in opposite directions on the same road to factor our possible road angle) that modifieda4 requested i run as he deemed my 6.15 caps run "too fast". oh well, ill settle for the 6.28

setup for those runs:

GIAC chip, lemmituned for hella timing and backing off fuel a tad
mbc ~ 24psi
aquamist stage one kit
borla cat back exhaust (2.25") - w/ stock CAT
evoms intake

fastest time that day was 6.15

this is the same setup i ran my 14.3 with, there were a few more things i could have done to egg some more power out of her, mainly a test pipe an a FMIC, but i got bored screwing around with the k03

My K03 setup was Pre-CAPS so it didn't even get tested to see what it could do, but sure it would have ran some K04 CAP times.


I do find it funny that Modified has completely ignored my newest CAPS times that I submitted which would put me back on top of the list seeing that I ran quicker then Ian's best time.
