try and find a new engine cover at a salvage yard. You can clean up an older one easily.

Just ditch it, it's just extra weight in the wrong place (not much, but still). Mine is on a shelf in the garage. It annoying to remove covers everytime you do work on your car.

Myne came like that too. I just took the cover off because I think it looks tacky without the Audi emblem.
