    Just a tad disapointed, Can't even spike over 16psi. mod list below~

    (yes, i did the N249 bypass). I thought I would be spiking around 19psi and holding 16 psi.

    Ah well, I'm just being a baby I guess. Making these cars fast is damn pricey.

    I think Papachristou's Fmic helps
    Having an intercooler doesn't effect how much boost you can make on your first hit.

    It'll help you stop losing power from heat soak.

    I'd check for a boost leak somewhere. It could be as simple as a clamp that isn't tight. I had a clamp that wasn't crimped off the wastegate and it would expand and leak.

    yeah, you're right.

    checked all clamps twice, they are all tight. I think there is a small leak somewhere but when I get a fmic next year, i'll try to replace as much of the ic piping as i can, hopefully the shotgun approach will just solve this

    I know the fmic would give me more boost but hopefully when i install the FMIC, i'll end up replacing a tube/pipe that has a leak.

    Trev, I think your boost range is about right though, Peaking at 19 and holding 13 is pretty much what to expect for our mods.

    It could be any of the vacuum lines that have a hole in them and/or are leaking.....

    replace your n75. i had the same problem for over a year. i didn't even know it was a problem until i popped in a new n75 and immediately spiked 22, held 19.

    new n75 FTW. by the way.... the new valve is tagged "n75F" as opposed to the stock n75C.
    calm the fuck down. it's all relative.

    Hmm, haven't thought of that. I was told the N75 either works or doesn't. Didn't it falls in between good and fail. Btw, my car has 50k Kilometers.

    I miss my DSM too! 2.4 stroked 6 bolt, fully built, ported intake and exhaust side 20G, @ 26lbs, every possible mod, HKS intake and exhaust cams, and nitrous on the intercooler. End result: 420hp/397tq at 26lbs..

    Look for a boost leak first.

    Then change your N75 valve.

    For some reason, it likes to go bad once more boost is introduced to the car.
    I had my factory programming for 20K miles, then as soon as I tossed in Revo STG 1, i boosted only about 10-12 psi a few months later.

    Turned out it was my N75 valve.

    Then, after that, I ran into Random Misfires code on my vag. Yup, that's a MAF problem.

    Just a heads up in the time to come. You might be looking at a new N75,and a new MAF in the not so distant future.

    the new F valve is just a revision for the C valve. it is currently listed as the stock valve for our cars.

    I had my factory programming for 20K miles, then as soon as I tossed in Revo STG 1, i boosted only about 10-12 psi a few months later.

    Turned out it was my N75 valve.

    Then, after that, I ran into Random Misfires code on my vag. Yup, that's a MAF problem.

    Just a heads up in the time to come. You might be looking at a new N75,and a new MAF in the not so distant future.

    Money talked.. Sold it to a guy in Miami for $9000. I paid $3000 with the motor built. Spent another $2000 out of my pocket. It was a 97 GST. And unfortunately never got to run it in the quater mile. Just a beast on the street. Tore up almost anything for the 3mths I had it in that condition.

    Then the Audi was born!
