Where are you guys routing your wires from the engine bay inside the cabin for gauges and such?

on mine there was a grommet just to the pass side of the ecu box, but its a tip so i think it would be where the clutch linkage would go, but it was the perfect size for 2 gauge wire :)

Im new to the audi scene but the center vent boost gauge seems to be pretty popular. How the hell are they getting the wire from the sender to the gauge up in there

some people go thru the ecu box, but i have seen it flood before frying everything, you can also go thru the pass side right under the cabin air filter. go poke around with a coat hanger till you find good spot.

for the vent you just have to cut a little hole into the vent tube, the vents just pop out if you pull on them

or if your drive by cable you can run a coat hanger through that opening and the wire will come out where your knee bolster is and it is right by everything you need, ignition, fuses etc..

Re: Running wire from cabin to engine bay..

under the steering wheel a little to the right there are 3 posts and one of them is a 12v source i just used that since it saves me the trouble of running multiple wires through the engine bay and for the vacuum line i ran it through the ecu box down and it came out above the gas pedal.
