Not so pleased with the results but what do you think?

    As far as mods:
    Vibrant cat-back
GIAC chip on race file...(107 average)

Also, on the way home I smashed it in 6th at about 80 MPH and it was boosting erratically....it went up to 21lbs to 12 to 20 to 13 and at that point I let off...
    What would this explain?

    Any comments welcome.

there are many, many variables that can affect 1/4 times, ambient air, warm-up, tire pressure, launch speed and quality, ...ect.. the main point is that you're in the mid 13's which is fairly normal for a stage I with a cat-back.. a tad slow considering the race file.. but with practice I'm sure it could be brought down .1-.2 seconds or a bit more. adding piggies and some practice would bring it down to low 13's I'm sure.

the erratic boosting could be wastegate/ boost controller issues if it did it in every gear, check the wastegate hoses. vacuum leak would just deacrease the amount of boost it can spike to, it wouldn't cause it to dip after hitting the spike.

Check your n75 valve , the erratic boost could be coming from a bad valve

As far as the runs go there not bad at all. You were at MIR? i think i saw you pull up to run when i first got there.

And as others said check your N75 and check for boost leaks.

^ Erratic boost usually is a bad N75 or a small boost leak.

I am not sure on the Flashloader question, sorry.

ECS sells a Race N75 for our car.

Sounds like N75 rather than boost leak. With a boost leak; unless it was intermittent boost leak which doesn't make too much sense.

The boost issue sounds more like typical GIAC throttle cut. It's common in cold conditions. Log the car and check.

Relax, I just troll this place for fun.

Re: Went to the track for the first time...

My car lasted about 3 passes on GIAC XR before blowing a 2" tear in the TBB. Check there too.

Times are pretty accurate with a boost leak. I managed an 8.8 @ 79 1/8th with only the GIAC XR and the developing leak.. I just started to see times tapering off between runs and then it started erratically boosting and eventually I was unable to make a clean pass.
