Still Misfiring Cyl 123 even after Coil/plug change

I cant seem to knock out this misfire issue. I vag the car daily and always come up with p0301 p302 p302 misfires on that side of the engine, i have new coils and new plugs (BKR7E @ .28 gap) The car idles a little lumpy and isnt getting the performance im supposed to with my mods listed below. Minus the JHM intercooler which should be here soon. Can the stock IC's cause this horrible performance / misfires. Or since the problem is only on cyl 123 does it sound like ICM. Each cylinder bank has 1 ICM right so it could be one of thems bad?

Sounds like your ICM, try switching them and see if the misfire changes banks.

swapped out the ICM's and for some reason now im not getting misfires. I did notice the ICM that's closest to the front of the car has one of the boltdown bolts snapped off so its only getting bolted down from one side.

Well they bolt down to a heatsink, I don't if that would be the cause; but it sounds like it got too hot and fried or was getting too hot and stopped working.

Why would it work now though unless in the next few days the problems will come back on banks 4-6.

when looking from the front of the car. which ICM corresponds with which bank?

Still misfiring on 1 thru 3. Could one side of the icm not being bolted down be the culprit? I couldn't imagine....

Try the connections at the ICM. Check actual vs requested injector p/w for those cyls.
