linkage and bushing upgrade for shifting

Hey guys,

Just got finished installing my JHM linkage upgrade and bushing for shifting.

I thought all went well, seems to feel good from inside the car.

When I first started the car I reversed out of the garage without problems. Put the car in first, attempted to 'get going' and I couldn't. Felt like the car was in 4th or 5th gear. I was able to start up in second and continue through to 5th without a problem.

Why the hell did 1st gear disappear or take on the roll of another gear? I'm not sure how the JHM linkage upgrade could cause this, but everything was fine before the install.

Sounds like when you fiddled with the linkage rod, the bolt came loose at the shifter base. Take the boot off and inspect the bolts that connect the linkage. When they come loose you can only get 3rd and 4th.

me too I am interested I would like to know if installed with the linkage gives any vibrations inside the car

Honestly, to me, the vibration feels the same, only it shifts 10x better!
