    FMIC Intercooler

Has anyone noticed after installing the FMIC or upgrading to bigger intercoolers from stock that they turbos seem to whistle more? Maybe I'm just being paranoid...but it seems like they make more noise? The only issue I had was one of the pressure hoses blew off under throttle once at about 15 PSI, but thats it and I dont think that would have hurt anything?

    Re: FMIC Intercooler

you may have a small boost leak somewhere. mine did that when i first installed it. some clamps were not as tight as they should/could have been. give all your clamps antoher half crank and then see whats up.
mine were a little more noticable, but they werent whistling

Hm...I haven't found any leaks...FWIW, its about 20 degrees here right now...and it seems like it gets alot quieter after getting the engine hot?
