    Hey guys,

I've used this forum for numerous fixes to my 2003 A4 1.8T.

I have run into something that nobody can diagnose. Whenever I unlock the driver's side with the remote key, and lock the driver's side up, the alarm goes off. When I unlock the whole car (two clicks of the remote), and lock it back up, the alarm does not go off. It's only when the driver's side is the only door that is unlocked, does the alarm go off when locking the car.

I don't know if I made any sense, but do you guys have any ideas?

*shrug* got a wiring diagram? Does the alarm immediately trigger upon the solenoid locking action? Or does it take a few seconds?

    Re: mystery problem

I doubt it's the motion sensor... But without a wiring diagram I'd have no way of guessing what the problem is.

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, might help to reset some things.

Are you locking the driver's door again immediately, or after driving the car,
    when the alarm is tripped?

No I was just hoping to clarify the symptoms with additional info.

You should get a diagnostic scan of the Central Convenience/Comfort Controller then post back the fault codes stored.
