Okay so i have vogtland coilovers on my car and i had it pretty low for the summer time shows but i am kind of getting tired of it because its my DD and since i could get some snow here in MD i dont want my car to be a snow plow if we get more than 3" of snow so i raised the car up some but once i got to a certain point it seems like the perchs just dont want to go up any higher cause theres so much tension from the spring and its really not even that high up yet so im wondering if anybody has any tricks they used to make the job any easier or is it just gonna be an all day thing getting the car to the height that i need just incase we get some snow TIA

make sure you have the threads oiled up well, and just crank on them.. a pipe on the end of the wrench works well for leverage

Can you not put some spring compressors on them, take some tension of the spring? I lowered mine a bit more the other weekned, actually easier to just measure up what raise/drop you want and take the coilovers off the car, found it so much easier in the end, was probably quicker, and I still have all knuckles!

yea i hear that i got like five busted knuckles just going up like a 1/2" but i was thinking about the spring compressors i just would have to take the rotor off to make some room for them and a wrench to tighten them ill check it out and see what i can do i was just hoping it might be easier than that and i was doing something wrong and yea mountain rd is a PITA and i wont even chance going down in the city
