    Squeeking

This is my first post here at AZ. I have an '05 Ultrasport that I bought about 3 months ago, and am absoluting loving it. One thing I've noticed with the colder temps here in Denver now is a loud squeeking noise whenever I hit a bump and the car is cold. It seems like its coming from the rear seat, and seems to go away if I fold the seat down. It sounds like the seat moves just enough to cause a squeeking noise, but only happens when the car is cold. Just curious if anyone else had ever experienced this, and if so what it was. I'm guessing the seat hinge needs a little WD40...

    Re: Squeeking

I had something similar and its very annoying.

Mine was fixed by putting cardboard (or duck tape) little thin pieces under that handle which unlocks the rear seats, on both sides. If you move it around u should hear the same squeezing noise.

Other possibilities: The rear seats are not well seated on the two plastic parts holding them. Both caused noises on mine.

Good thing u dont have any noise in the front, I discovered at least 6 different sources of annoying squeezing noises, all fixed with foam sheets I have.

It's common, try greasing the latch if that doesn't work it may need adjusted.
