would anyone recommend royal purple oil for my audi a3 3.2 if so how often should i change my oil.

castrol synthetic 5w/40 change every 5k or 6months if you love your car.

Fortunately, the VR6 motor isn't as hard on oil compared to the 2.0t motor (and other FSI engines)

x2 on the castrol..dont listen to the manual! haha i would do them every 5-7k depending on how you drive your car..i do mine every 5 or so

i use castrol snyt 5w 40 for my 2.0t

I use Total Quartz 5w30, it is an approved oil. I change my oil every 4-5k miles or after every track event.
