Can anyone confirm this? Do the FWDs come with 14lb single mass flywheels? If so would it be easy for my to get my OEM flywheel resurfaced, and with it being 14lbs, it seems I wouldn't have to mess around with a LWFW...

I have never heard of that in the last 7 years of dealing with clutch setups or flywheels.

No matter what you can get your OEM flywheel resurfaced unless the surface is so bad that it cant resurfaced. Southbend offers free resurfacing if you are buying one of their clutch kits, you just pay for the shipping both ways.

Stock flywheel is dual mass and weighs A LOT more than 14 lbs. If you are really worried about chatter then get your stock flywheel resurfaced... And make sure everything is installer properly.

    Re: Question about FWD flywheel...

That or order a 20 lbs SB flywheel, they just lowered the price on that down to $399 to match Spec's price on their 15 lbs flywheel. SB is now also offering a 17 lbs billet steel flywheel at the same $399 price.
