Noises ??

Hey guys ..

Lately i been hearing funny noises coming out of my car .. probably has something to do with the steering .. rack and pinion maybe power steering .. idk .. its a weird groan and i went to the dealership and they said if i cannot make the noise happen they cannot fix it :( ..

any one experienced this noise?

Can you be more descriptive of the noise?

Is it constant? When do you hear it?

I hear it in low RPM's in first gear only..

for example .. when you go up a hill you usually launch a bit higher so you car doesnt smash into someone else's ..

i also have a 3 car garage and i have the one all the way to the left and it hardest to pull into so its alot of first gear clutch work and usually happens then ..

What im trying to say is it doesn't only happen when the car is turning but also going foward.

it really hard to explain i looked like an idiot when the audi dealership tech was looking at me

check your power steering fluids

well my friend said that but is it possible for the fluid to be needed to change with the car being 6 months old and 3k miles ?

mine had the exact same symptoms then 5 mins later i was at the dealer since all the "power steering" was gone.... mine had a "FAST" leak..

this is the only fluid that is low ..

that's the power steering fluid.. get it topped up ... mine was leaking and it actually smoked up

thanks so much i will be going to Audi on Wednesdays so they show it on record that the problem was the power steering fluid so in the future anything happens it on them :).
