    Febi to OEM?

Hey guys, i had to replace my inner tie rod ends, however i already had a set of outers, the inners came with the OEM one, i do have FEBI TRE's sitting in my room, is there a big comparable difference between the two? Would it be worth it to put the FEBI's on or should i send them back to PureMS?

Just wondering because if these ones i ordered from GermanAutoParts are not going to last more than 2 years i might as well put on the febi TRE and not have to worry about it.

    Any comments or opinions?

Nothing is guaranteed to last. But that being said, I would trust the Febi ones to outlast the OEM one's. If you truly intend on keeping your car for two more years put on the Febi's and sell the other one's in the classifieds to get back some of the $.

I have Febi HD outer ends on my car. The massive ones, very happy with them.

Febi-Bilstein is an interesting outfit (as a supplier/manufacturer). Some of their items are simply cheap Asian made pieces that they source from manufacturers that they re-package in their Febi boxes for resale, while some of their items are Genuine OEM that they source from German OE suppliers. All Febi boxes should state the country of origin they were manufactured in (i.e. Turkey, China, Germany, etc). As a whole, Febi products are generally solid and worthy of using. Honestly, it's dependent upon what part you're referring to. Their drivetrain stuff isn't bad, though.
