I got into a habit of recording my gas mileage statistics for a little over a year ago and so everytime i pumped gas, I wrote down how much gas cost me, how much i filled in, and how many miles i got until the next fill up. Figured it would be useful to track what type of mpg I'm getting.
So here are the results. My average MPG is about 20.. I guess that's fair considering my driving is 50% city, 50% highway. Gas prices are for premium in the northern virginia area.
Year to date, I've spent about $2000 on gas.
Some data was bad so I took it out (for example if I filled in $25 of gas, or if i forgot to record the miles driven).
What do you guys think?
