You will end up with at least one seam, just put it on the bottom. You're gonna have to kinda wrap it. I suggest cutting a circular strip of carpet and laying it around it. I'm having trouble expressing what needs to be done. Just take you time, pull and tug it were you need it to go. If you're using the standard "trunk" carpet it should be pretty forgiving.

Lay the carpeting down over the top and stretch it over applying spray adhesive as you go. When your finished cut out the circle leaving some excess and tuck under and glue.

he's saying that he can't figure out how to wrap the corners of the box without the fabric wanting to fold.

my only suggestion would be to cut lines down the corner so that it'll lay flat... but then that's kind of a seam isn't it?

you'll have to stretch and tug like like a vinyl-pleather to get it how you want it

Take it to a shop. My box has one seam you can't even notice without even looking for it.

I carpeted a square box once and it looked like crap and the glue did not last long.

    Industrial glue FTW.

Won't the seam be in the back then? Why does it matter?

Re: how to carpet a "martini box"

i just went to walmart and got a stretchy fleece material... covered it all in a single sheet... no seams... if you look at the photo, its not covered in the back

should be very easy to cover the whole thing
