i just bought a ecu from a member its for a 2000 a6 2.7t manual and now im trying to figure out wheres the chip i opened it up and dont see anything different from my stock ecu nothing says giac or anything can you guys help me out and tell me wat im looking for its suppose to be a giac x chip installed let me know asap thanx

giac doesnt use chips soldered to the ecu anymore. they reflash your ecu via the obd II port.

the easiest way would most likely be getting a boost gauge and see how much psi your boosting
