Forum requirements

Is there anyway we can make it required that users have at least 100 posts to list a ad for sale and make a section for introductions where they have to post before they can move on to the rest of the forum.

I've seen it on other sites and it was very useful in making people think before they post. Another helpful thing would be making them read a quick link to where it explains the need to search and general forum rules- before they can start posting

We do have some things in the works, but nothing like requiring a new user to read a thread before continuing. Instead we'll be putting together a "welcome" message which will be in every new account's PM Inbox.

Another question I have that I don't want to make another thread for, can we change the color of the forum a little bit, for example my other forum http://forums.ncdubs.org/ also uses the same layout and they changed the color to be a little better looking. I'm thinking we could spice it up a little

We'll be continuing to tweak and change things, yes.

Audizine has always used grays for the site (for specific reason), including the forum, and I don't see us moving too far away from that. After we launch a few of the new features we're working on, we'll be freshening things up a bit, but like I said don't expect anything major.

I don't dislike the gray but it could look a little more modern, just my .02
