    Im still confused despite reading the resources on here using search and even the sticky posts. For me to better understand offset lets take this example:

    B7 S4, stock everything with 18" Avus wheels.

    1. What is the offset of the OEM Avus wheels?
    2. what other offset wheels can i fit into the car? (more offset or less offset?)

    Stock wheels are 18" x 8" ET45.
    I have 18" x 8.5" ET32 on my car right now with no rubbing. Lower offset you go the farther out the wheel comes.
