I know im probably just over reacting, but i need to make sure. I was driving out of my complex and there are speed bumps literally every 40 ft! it gets pretty annoying sometimes, i usually go really slow when im approaching the speed bumps. For some reason i got distracted today and went over the speed bump and did not slow down needles to say the undercarriage hit and there was a gnarly scrapping sound the car drives normal, but is this a big deal? could anything be damaged? potential problems?

if nothings leaking and not making any noises or drive different your fine..maybe you scratched up your oil pan is what im guessing

you probably didnt hurt anything. the tranny subframe sits lower than the body. that is what most likely hits if you drop off a speed bump fast enough.

No doubt the plastic belly pan or the plastic aero cover under the car scraped the pavement, plastic parts make an awfull sound when hitting the road.
The suspension parts other than the sway bar, can't easily hit the road, so that isn't something to worry about. The only way to know for sure is put the car on a hoist and inspect for evidence where the chassis touched the road, and for damaged parts.

Cause when i got over those HUGE speed bumps, i sometimes land pretty hard.

when ur lowered it sux over bumps, if i go over 3mph on a small bump i hear this bang sound, it probably is the sub frame.

I scrape that subframe, but i usually scrape my downpipe and defiantly my exhaust.
