Neuspeed snub mount shakey on car?

I purchased the Neuspeed snub mount over the APR thinking it should dampen better. Not yet installed but was told by my local garage it will induce a lot of vibrations into the cabin. That I should of gone with the APR which is less likely to cause vibrations.

Is this true? Has anyone fitting uprated snub mounts to their CVT A4, worth it or just sell it on?

the nuespeed one on all that i have installed do not cause to much vibration (none noticable) the apr is a nightmare on most i have installed.

They dont know what they're talking about I got APR stuff but would never use their snub - they have some quality control issues with cracking (bet the guys in the garage don't know that). A properly mounted snub does not vibrate noticably. Choose another garage... seriously

Hi Guys

I actually installed the Neuspeed myself. I noticed the snub mount can be adjusted by around 1cm (3 bolts). The mount was tightened with the car on stands so I believe it could be misaligned.

Whats the best way to adjust it? Remove sump guard then with car on ground adjust from under front bumper?

They dont know what they're talking about I got APR stuff but would never use their snub - they have some quality control issues with cracking (bet the guys in the garage don't know that). A properly mounted snub does not vibrate noticably. Choose another garage... seriously

1) Raise front of car on jackstands or ramp
2) Loosen bolts
3) Start car and allow idle to steady to slow speed (few-several minutes)
4) Stop car
5) Tighten bolts
6) Enjoy smooth ride
7) Repeat if necessary (usually not).
