Boost or Vac leak sounds? HELP (Video Inside)

So ive been at dealers and they tell me they dont know what the sound is, so i desided to post it. When u rev the car up and the revs drop you here a hiss or kinda a loud rattle. I have a forge DV and this sound was happening before i installed it thought that would cure the problem. I dont know why it would be the pcv because i can get the oil cap off with out a problem. So if anybody could help me out and tell me what the hell this is because it isnt normal.
Also my boost tends to drop from a 18 hold as soon as i hit 5500rpm maybe this is the leak as well? Listen to the whole video as you can hear it alot towards the end

Would it be your intake? Cuz I don't think you would be boosting to 18 if it was a boost/vacuum leak.
And yes boost dropping off at 5500 is normal.

sounds like the wastegate decompressing to me... i could be wrong though.

WTF was that sound when you turned off the engine??? i'd worry about that more then your DV leaking (which you should take to the dealership and have replaced, assuming you are still under warantee, if not upgrade to forge DV)

thats what im talking about when i turn it off as well and i already have the forge dv

i personally use a stock DV, never had the need to replace it (yet, knock on wood)...

does the forge DV come with different springs or something is adjustable or something.... i'd check that out make sure that is all proper...

sounds are effing hard to diagnose, i would take it in to the dealership and see what they say.. that sound at the very end isnt one im familiar with.

Check your DV, PCV, and have the car boost pressure tested. The car might by trying to compensate for a leak and still boost the same, but the turbo is going to be working double time.

I think I hear what you mean. Its like a ratchet clicking noise.

That is your fuel pump and came lobe. A friends GTI used to do that same noise, until his fuel pump and came lobe went bust.

sounds like apr fuel pump is a good buy :)
