anyone ever damage an intake valve? dont know how i did it, i ran a comp test and got 50psi in the left front cylinder "the only one misfire'n"

did a leak down and its leaking through the intake, so i am guess'n maybe i over rev'd and nicked / damaged a valve? burnt maybe? broken spring?

anyways, it smokes sometimes out the exhaust pretty heavy, usualy after i boost it good or drive for awhile then come to a stop, i thought i had blown a turbo but i guess not,

anyways if you guys have any ideas or advice that would be great, the motor idlles quiet like it should, no ticking or anything,

i am about to go stage 3 and yank the motor.... just wondered if this was common, i cant find any similar posts on audiworld..

so how do you find out if you have a bent valve or a leaky valve? I've always wondered this about my car... also, how would you pinpoint wich valve it is with the heads still mounted...

    nope

finding a damaged valve is kinda easy.
    1) do a compression test
    2) find the low cylinder
    3) pull the motor
    4) pull the head with a low cylinder :-P

Is the engine still running? My timing belt shredded and caused the pistons to hit the valves bending each middle intake valve on bank 2. I replaced the bent valves and ended up doing the full Stage 3 because the heads were off and the turbos were accessible from on top.
