Bumpstops - For those non-Sport switching to lowering springs

I've been collecting all the pieces to switch out the non-sport suspension to oem sport suspension and read that the bumpstops need to be shortened or switched out to the sports bumpstops.

Dealers had them for $45 and $55, not sure which one is Front or Rear, and that's each.

After some more digging, found a place where I got all 4 for $60 shipped -> German Auto Parts. And these guys ship fast.

Sorry it this has been posted before.

Installed a Stasis streetsports coilover from a non-sport suspension and Stasis suggested to cut the non-sport bumpstops 1 inch which is what my installer did. Have had no problems. You can alos buy the real sport ones but it'll cost more.

Re: Bumpstops - For those non-Sport switching to lowering springs

Everyone seems to say the clunks are because the top nut of the shocks is not torqued properly. These seem to be a biatch to torque. I've made my gagare tear everything apart and retorque them because I had clunks. Didn'T solve it. I seem to have a small loose in my steering rack which may be causing the noise now that suspension is more firm. Had all the steering arms checked, changed a couple that had loose in them and that also didn't fix the clunks. I am now living with them...

There is also a bushing on the fronts where the top bolt is. It wears out over time. Did you change it also. Here's a pic:

    - Hyperflow Intake

Just find out how tall the Sport bumpstops are and just cut them to length. They are just hard foam and can be cut with a razor blade.
