Best Air Filter(s)?

Ok, so when I did my DPs the other weekend, I noticed my airbox had already been darintaked. Just curious what filters everyone is using out there, cause mine is real dirty. Personally, I have only ever used K&N, two were cones and the other one was flat. TIA

I use the ITG drop in filter but some people say that the oiled filters mess up the MAF. Most of the guys here use the cone filter after they go Stage3. I think the stock air box works best and you can put a cone filter in it if you want. USE the SEARCH button you should find what your looking for with pictures of installs.

I have an AEM DryFlo filter. On my Evo i ran the Apexi dry filter and never had a problem with it

Was that just the cone filter, cause Im just looking for a factory fit in the box.

Does anyone actually just re-order the stock paper filter? I'm worried about the oil issues from K&N, etc.

i dropped a K&N flat filter in about a month ago and have had no problems. i just wiped as much of the oil that comes on it off before i put it in..

Stock jawn unless you have a stage 3 setup that requires a larger MAF, even then you could do work on the airbox.

K&N and other oiled filters are FINE to use with MAF cars as long as you do not oil them too much and let them properly dry after re-oiling before you install them on your car.

How do you guys clean the ITG drop in filter, I got one but have not put it back in because I think it needs a cleaning. Thanks in advance.
