STaSIS Street Sport suspension kits are designed specifically for each Audi model and configuration. The ride will feel similar to the factory Audi suspension but with more control. In addition to the comfortable ride the Stasis Streetsport coilover kit will stiffen the suspension just enough to improve the steering response and minimize body roll. The spring rate is chosen for your vehicle and driving use. The dampers are custom valved to match the spring rate. This allows STaSIS to provide the quickest reacting suspension available without the harshness often experienced in mismatched systems. The STaSIS Street Sport suspension kit includes the following components:

• KONI Cadmium Plated, Adjustable Dampers
• Koni Progressive Springs
• UHMWPE Spring Perch Bearings

Many spring and shock combinations lower the car more than most drivers want. Spring and shock combinations are rarely designed to work in concert with the rest of the suspension and thus make for poor handling and ride quality. The STaSIS Street Sport Coilovers give you the ability to choose where you want the ride height to be while giving you the damping control you need.

KONI dampers are used in the STaSIS Street Sport line. These are twin-tube dampers featuring KONI's Sport valving. Additional features include a corrosion resistant cadmium plated damper body (when threaded), damping adjustability and height adjustability. Rebound is adjustable while the damper is off of the car. STaSIS sets the rebound for these dampers based on countless hours of testing. Most customers find that changing the settings after installation isn't necessary. The UHMW perch bearing makes for easy adjustments by decreasing the friction between the perch and spring.
Rear dampers feature the same performance as the front dampers.

Note:
The rear suspension of of many Audi and Volkswagen vehicles uses a seperate perch for the spring. Due to this design a "true" coilover is not possible in the rear of those vehicles however an adjustable perch is included for height adjustability.

The fronts are easy, the rears require dropping the subframe.

These are damping adjustable - STaSIS just pre-sets them for optimum daily driving and the occasional track use or spirited drive. You can certainly firm them up some if you want...

As mentioned above, the rear is more difficult then the fronts as you do need to drop the sub-frame to even access the spring perch to adjust height. You have to go as far as removing the rear shocks if you want to change the damping settings as well.

Not sure what you mean by "stock setting" but the coils at their highest point is roughly an inch lower than stock. But "an inch lower than stock" is subject to interpetation as Audi has several different height variations with stock springs.

Ah, gotcha. Yes, set-up for daily driving. On our shop floor (very even surface) the measurement from floor to 12-o'clock on the front fender is about 25½" where we set it for our customers. That's slightly lower then where STaSIS sets it, and our height is still daily drive-able.

Are those 18" or 19" RS4 wheels and is that roughly the same stance Stasis ships this kit with, or is that lower?

I'm in the same boat as the post from NY. I'm in New England and this is my daily driver.

^ That height is our 25½"-from-fender-to-ground height, the typical stance we select. That car is running our 19x8.5" (38mm offset) Hartmann RS4-252M with 235/35-19 Dunlop Sport Maxx tires.

Is this a different shock absorber that comes separately or with the kit?

I posted that picture (thanks google) to show the white plastic adjustment thingy at the top of that strut to show what's used to make those damping adjustments (up front).

$995 was a sale price we ran when list prices were just under $1100. STaSIS has raised the prices on these kits due to increased costs to make the kit (thank Koni for that one) so subsequently, our list price went up as well.

Ok because I have the STaSIS Streetsport Coilover kit and I bought it from you guys over a year ago.... Mine DID NOT come with that white adjustment knob... Is there a way to order it separate? My suspension is very soft and I want to firm it up as much as it can go.. but I can't find directions nor a tool that I could adjust the dampening. It doesn't even say so in the link posted above..... What could I do?
