Hub-cebric ring question for the pros

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey guys -

I have a set of discontinued Millie Miglia wheels that have a missing hub-centric ring. The OD is 72.2 and the ID is 57.1.

The closest I can find is for a replacement have OD of 72.62 or 72.0 If I use the 72.0 ring, will that .2mm of play cause me problems?

I can have a ring custom made, but that's $$$. I'll do it if I have to.

On top of that I can only find plastic rings in these sizes, so machining the 72.62 ring down is not very feasible, but since it's plastic I suppose it could be maneuvered in there since te existing metal rings do have some ever so slight play.

    What do you all think?

    TIA -

i tried the larger ring (luckily it fit) and that fixed my vibration issue. if you go with the smaller ring, u probably will have vibration issues.

u can purchase aluminum rings here..

If you can get the part number for the wheel (off the back spoke) I may have the ring needed (as we used to sell MM)

Thanks. What size were you supposed to have, and what size did you get?
