Bought a boost gauge. Mock-up plus mount position.

    Cell phone dreaded pic again.

So I bought it. Don't mind mock-up column gauge since it was just pieces of cardboard.

    Then I really got bored!

Gonna give a call to eurocode and see if they have podi steering gauge. However, I wonder if this will hinder the process. The circle in red.

Upon searching it seems that most boost gauge (owners) have only two wires. Negative and positve. I,however, have three: Neg, post, and night lamp.

Any idea where I can wire tap for night lamp?

    Pics.

Emm.. that "thing" you circled in red should be the boost source.. you kinda need that :)

As for the Night wire, just don't hook it up and see how bright the gauge is.
I'm thinking the point is that your gauge lights up all the time. Night time lights are usually there so it "dims" the light at night so it's not so bright. You could always tap any of your cigarette lighter lights or things that turn on when you flip on your headlights/sidemarkers. They all run off 12V DC power which is all fine.

Measure the length of the body including the brass inlet nipple and I'll tell you if it will clear the back of the pod.

Night lamp is the blue/gray dimmer wire off the headlight switch.

^^ maybe take the vac hose into consideration too, you dont want to pinch it off at a 90 degree angle.

2 1/2" is the max length and the vaccum line should just clear the back of the pod without issue IF you directly connect the line to the brass nipple.

If you have to use any sort of attachment then it won't work.
