anyone ever go out to El Mirage?

Anyone up for going out there on some sunday? Its $15 to get in and do whatever the hell you want :) If any of you have anymore info or insight on this place, post it!

I have gone a while back, when it was free. The place is a total trip. Its like a salt flat except is clay. The surface is smooth as glass. Best place to test out the handling on the car or learn tricks, there is absolutely nothing to hit or crash into within a 2 mile radius. Expect copious amounts of dust however and this is not your regular dust it is extremely fine, will get into everywhere, just like the mazda Zoom Zoom commercials. Its something you should do at least once though.
During the rainy season its closed, because the clay gets soft and vehicles would ruin the smoothness. We should get a group of people to go and make a short video.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to do.. My buddy owns a WRX and guys from his forum have been going out there quite a bit and also a few guys on M5board for photos and video.. The picture possibilities out there seem endless! We should definetly organize a meet!!
