what does this part do?

Not to sure what the technical name is for this valve but its the one next to the n249 valve that is located on the same bracket that is attached to the underside of the intake manifold. What is this part responsible for? The reason I ask is because I noticed its missing a hose of off the little black nipple and there is also a black plastic cap that is on the other nipple right where the electrical connector plugs into this valve/part Thanks..

So with further searching I found the answer to part of my question. The part that I was not sure of is the n112. But what I still need help with is if there is suppose to be some type of vac hose connected to it coming off of the small black nipple. If there is where does the other end connect to as I can't find the hose anywhere and how important is it to have one hooked up.

Bump. Anyone????? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I know that the n112 is part of the SAI system. I currently have my manifold off and doing some work so It would alot easier to attach a hose to now if it needs to be there. Is it ok if it vents to the atmosphere as this is the way I found it after taking the manifold off.

does the nipple have a 90 degree bend in it. If so I don't have anything connected there either. And there is no signs that something was clamped there so I just left it alone.
