    I'm looking to buy an 03' RS6

    Any advice on what to look for or if there are any common issues with this model I should be aware of??

    make sure the timing belt and accessories have been changed have been changed at least once. i think you're supposed to every 25-35k miles and its a couple grand

    brake jobs are hella expensive too...

    TB job every 35K. Brakes are hella expensive as OC mentioned. The suspension likes to fail just for the hell of it. You might want to check out RS6.com. Great car though if you have the cream for when it needs service.

    I thought about one in the last few months, actually drove two. $2,700 for TB, 1k for brakes, possible DRC control issues. Search the threads over at AW. Wonderful ride, just decided I'd rather do other things with the $$ right now.

    Yea... having it as a daily is not a good idea unless you literally have thousands of dollars sitting idly that you can't care less for

    Almost pulled the trigger on this one last week. I have got close 3 or 4 times. Clean CPO, low miles.

    THX for the advice and after careful thinking I think I'll stick with my A8 for now! The whole changing the timing belt every 35K seems a little much. It must be the high stress from the engine?
