gauge cluster center display warning lights

hey everyone, i have a quick question.

I have a terrible center display in my gauge cluster... so i cant tell what the little yellowish lights on the top 1/4 are thrying to tell me : \

I got real low on gas, and i could tell it showed a pump

but i was on the interstate cruising in 5th, about to pass someone so i kicked it down for about 10 seconds or so and the top 1/4th of the center display lit up (i usually have it on off (all black) mode). It had a kind of circular shape to it, i cant really tell too much more than that, but it did that twice, both times right when i was passing another car and having help the pedal to the metal for a bit. could it be oil light or something?

If anyone knows if there is a list or anything of the center display warning symbols maybe i can narrow it down from there

break pad warning... mines on always

(()) if it was something like that. a circle surrounded by parenthesis. it is your brake pad sensors. so your pads might b running low. i just had the same problem, changed my pads with some new ceramics and viola.

if you search there is a list somewhere of ALL of the little icons that appear on the top of the display.

beat me to it. why is yours always on? no sensors on the pads?

why would it only come on at the peak of my acceleration? i never hit the brakes or anything.

anyone know where that list of icons is? thanks

km/h speed warning?

Possibly you accidentally enabled the accoustic / visual yellow speed warning, whereby the display shows the km/h symbol once the preset speed has been reached / exceeded.

Usually accompanied by a "beep."
