Any of these good o2 sensors?

They are cheap and Bosch. (My car is a 2001 A4 1.8tqm). Any of these two good? One of them requires reuse of the old connector, i dont know if thats risky? Also, i need Bank 1 sensor, im not sure if these two are.

Bank 1 referrs to the secondary 02 sensor. I also have a Bosch unit that is spliced into my existing connector (actually, for both front and rear). You'll be fine. As to which link has the correct one, this one.

So Bank 1 sensor is not the one thats closer to the turbo right? Its the one thats further in that you cant see?

I dont mean to thread jack, but if my primary o2 sensor was shot would my car run perfectly normal or would driving be heavily affected?

    Correct

The oxygen sensors calculates emmisions flow to determine effeciency. The sensors along with the MAF calculate proper fueling for the ECU to grant. If your sensors or MAF is gone, you can run rich or lean. Hence, your MPG will go down.

Just wanna make sure with a diagram(sorry), this is bank 1?

And that corresponds with this problem:

Fault Code: 17536- Fuel Trim; Bank 1(Mult.): System too Lean?

Re: Any of these good o2 sensors?

Pardon, I had to go and look it up again. There is only 1 bank on our engines and it referrs to the cylinder head (please excuse me, as I was confused). As for the code, it does not necessarily mean that your sensors is gone. It could be either your MAF or one of your 02 sensors. You may want to post another inquiry on how to log the oxygen sensors.

But if I were you, I would go to Autozone, purchase a can of CRC MAF cleaner, spray the crap out of the MAF, and see what happens after that. I would not be surprised if your MAF was just a little dusty. If you have a VAG Com, check for readiness on the oxygen sensors.

The sensor before catalyst measures the air fuel ratio, the one after the cat measures oxygen content in the exhaust. the sensor in front of the cat would affect rich and lean conditions in the motor, the one after the cat ensure the cat is working by measuring the oxygen levels. The one in the picture appears to be the wrong one, it's the one closest to the turbo that measures air fuel ratios.
