    hey I need to use a vag to clear an airbag light so I can get
    My
    Saftey check. Can anyone hook me up? I live in Hawaii kai but
    Where ever you are I can meet you and bring some

    Just from my experience, you might not be able to clear the airbag light with VAG-COM because it doesn't always throw a code. My airbag light was intermittently on for years and then all off a sudden it stopped and it was all good after that. It never threw a code.

    Hopefully someone can check it out for you and figure it out. If you don't find anyone, near you, I have one but I'm all the way in Mililani. BTW, I never had any problems getting safety with the airbag light on.

    i have cleared it with a vag-com b4 but when i changed my ECU it came back on, the 76 in hawaii kai said no dice with the airbag light on. so i might have to try some place else if no one has one.

    Haha I was going to ask the same thing. I have a copied version of vag and a working cable. Just dont fricken know how to use the VAG,noob.

    I actually still use it for other cars as a general OBD scanner.
