    Re: brakes question

for me it was a huge differance, my stock pads and rotor had 50k on them, so when i went with the b5s4 callipers, zimmerman vented/cross drilled rotors and pagid pads, it was a night and day differance. i also suggest doing ss brake lines while your at it.

Are the calipers bigger than the stock b6 a4 brakes and they will clear stock sport package rims right ?

    Re: brakes question

not only are the calipers bigger but they are 2 piston compared to B6 a4 which are 1 piston....like said above you wont be dissapointed

i did the B5 S4 calipers with "adams" dimpled/ slotted rotors , 5.1 fluid , and ss brake lines ( b6 a4 lines work with the B5 S4 calipers) and then pagid(or something like that) pads all around.

i initially thought there would be tremendous improvement and i didnt really notice it but then i went on a back road and did a 60-0 stop and was amazed... i also noticed that i can take turns faster now cause i dont need to slam on the brakes to compensate for the body going a little too far!!
hope this helps, pm me if you have any questions.

    Re: brakes question

    What about B6 S4 calipers / rotors. Same as B5 S4's?

Is it a completely direct fitment?
