Clubs in Chicago???

Planning on club night with a few friends for my wife's b-day in the next couple of months. Prob something VIP style, bottle fee, etc. Had Enclave in mind www.enclavechicago.com/ but they don't know if it will be open the night we want to go. Any other clubs in the city or around that are similar to that one? Saw www.nvpenthouselounge.com/ but it seems a bit small and the open booths might be a bit cold in Jan lol. Help would be great!

I'm not a "club" guy... But i like Sound Bar/ SkyBar and HEAT in Schaumburg.
My friends had a birthday party in HEAT this weekend and it was awesome, we had our own room and etc...And the way it is deisgned, you can dance/ chill/drink/ smoke outside with no problems.

it's all techno remixed rap, which sucks

i only go when some DJ from Europe or Middle East performs (i.e Tiesto, Van Buuren, Van Dyk, Shah, Aly & Fila) they local DJs suck

last time i went to vips... i came out of there at 4 am to find my car had been towed :'(

What about going to Crobar. Ive had tables at enclave whenever im up there and that place is pretty fun. We left there and had a vip at Crobar one night, but it was already after one table so i dont remember it as much. Arent there alot of bars and clubs in that area with crobar? All i remember is walking out of there and the sun was up. I HATE when that happens....

Personally i think Heat is a dive.
I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

I used to work at Enclave years ago and it always had a god looking crowd with some decent music. Havent been there in a long time though.

Crobar is good if go with a fun bunch of people and get a table. I wouldnt stay there too late though. Full of crackheads.

Go to The Underground!!! Definitely my favorite place to go in Chicago. Seems to be the only upscale bar/club in the city not filled with douchebags wearing Ed Hardy (Crobar, Manor, Rino, Republic, etc.). Its expensive, but has smoking waitresses/bartenders, non-jerk bouncers, awesome music and a great crowd.

my buddy spins at stone lotus, its nice, can get very crowded though. I've always been a fan of excalabur/vison. just like how you can get practiaclly lost in there. definately can freak you out if you've been drinking alot, lol.

Almost got into a fight with the doorman last time I went there.
Its a fun place with a good crowd but every doorman is the same.
They think their sh*t dont stink.

Everytime I see a jerk bouncer trying to act better than everyone, I think to myself, "hmmm, I remember when I used to make $8.25 an hour too"....

Thats one of the big reasons we do tables everywhere we go. You dont have to deal with the bouncers and everyone caters to your needs. For new yeasr in cancun we got a table at The City nightclub and it was worth every penny not to wait in the line that was about 2-300 yards long out front and around the block. We always talk to a guy named Patrick whenever we need anything at Enclave, they usually take car of us pretty well there. Sadly, I dont remember alot of the other bar experiences I have from chicago....
