    Couple of questions...

What is the size of the cut out for the stock sub?

If i were to replace that stock sub with a better one and replace the amp what would i have to do/change? would it even sound good?

Im not looking for big bump in the bass but just a little better then stock and i dont really want to put a box in my trunk so i was wondering if i could put one in the stock cut out.

i also searched and could not find anything so if there is a thread about this please point me to it.

    Re: replacing the stock sub...

i just made a thread about this like a week ago. And when i searched i found a ton of results. But all the threads say the same thing. 1 guy has actually done it, everyone else has thought about it and decided it's not worth it.

its not worth it unless you fiberglass that opening.. i work at a stereo shop and thought the same thing.. but you would need an infinite baffle sub (or a marine) basically one that doesnt need to be enclosed in airspace.. and there isnt many that sound devent
