Just wondering if the OEM damping/spring rates/ride-height are different between the 1.8T vs. the 2.8 V6 due to weight of the engines? Obviously, I'm talking about apples to apples, with regards to Sport/Non-sport packages. i.e. sport package v6 vs. sport package 1.8T and non-sport v6 vs. non-sport 1.8T. Quattro only, no FWD!
Where would the OEM S4 spring/damping rates/ride-height come in at in comparison?
I've got a B5 V6 with non sport suspension and want to go with some used OEM sport suspension, but am wondering if I should be looking at parts from a 1.8T or an S4, as there doesn't seem to be much out there in terms of used V6 sport suspension and I'm worried that the extra weight of my V6 vs. the 1.8T would make the springs not ride at the same height. Would S4 springs/struts be better suited to my car vs. the 1.8T, since it's a V6?
