    removing interior dressings?

what's the rule of thumb for cleaning the dash/plastics in between dressings? Is it necessary? I think I'm noticing that layers of dressings build up over time as grime.

If occasional cleaning IS a good idea, what products do you like?

    TIA!

First off, what kind of dressing are you using? If its silicone based...ie, amor all, or son of a gun...its bad all together. But if your content on using it, dont use it alot, in between application, just lightly damp a microfiber and wipe away. You dash shouldnt be 'dirty', but more or less dusty...unless your a dirty person! :)

I use 1Z Cockpit Premium, and love the matte finish it leaves. And I do dust in between dressings with damp MF towels.

But I guess I'm mostly curious about the eventual effects of always adding more, and never really removing anything. Can dressings really just disappear?

well, in a way, when you apply a new application, you aren't adding to it, your actually wiping away the old, while applying the new. To my knowledge, it will not build up unless its silcone based. Also, if you dust in between you are removing some of the material also...i wouldnt worry about it, especially with the 1Z, which is good stuff!
