Soo I have on tire thats used up on the exterior side. I dont want to put my winters on like this. I checked it out and I the control arms are shot on one side (there is also noise when I go over bumps) but someone just told me its allignment... What do you guys think?

I think it's control arms right? Steering wheel is straigh and when I take my hands off, I doesnt go anywhere soo allignment is good therefore control arms right?

    Thanks!

well if you checked the control arms and noticed that they are shot, then you should replace those either way

Its definitely not alignment if its making noise on bumps. I had your exact same issue, and the dealer (not Lauzon for this repair!) covered it under warranty replacing lower and upper control arms, bushings, and couple other things I dont remember. Lauzon said everything was normal (not true). With the Sport package we have, I have to visit the dealer twice a year for something related to suspensions and discomfort/noise when going into bumps. Our roads are really bad!

Yeah well controls arms, I had no choise but I just wanted to make sure I didn't need anything else.

Jacky, what winter tires you running dude? I got myself some Nokian Hakkappelittas in 235/45/17 for mine. Keeping my mags for the winter and I'm getting some RS6 reps for next summer.

I got the Michelin Xice 235/45/17 last year, and they still look brand new, so I might use them for a good 2-3 years a least before changing them. I still remember the bill on those

I also keep my mags in winter, not worth buying winter mags for $400+ when you we can just buy a new set in the summer!
